Our Mission

Our mission is to provide our patients with high quality dental care in an environment that is comfortable and professional. We strive to make dentistry and oral healthcare accessible and understandable for everyone. During your visit at True North Family Dental Care you will meet with either Dr. Fraser or Dr Dee, both owners. We do not have any associate dentists.

Our experienced and friendly staff will take the time to make sure you are comfortable and answer any questions you may have. If you need any further dental treatment beyond your first visit, we will create a plan to have your treatment completed in an efficient and stress-free manner.

Your comfort is our priority!

Meet Our Team

GENERAL DENTIST AND OWNER

Dr. Fraser grew up in the very small town of Plaster Rock in New Brunswick and received a scholarship to attend the University of New Brunswick where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2007. From New Brunswick he made his way to McGill in Montreal where he met his wife Dr. Kristina Dee and earned his DMD from the Faculty of Dentistry in 2011. After dental school, in 2012, Dr. Fraser completed an additional year of advanced dental training at UCLA in Los Angeles, where he focused on advanced restorative techniques. Since then Dr. Fraser has called B.C. his home and, when not in the dental office, enjoys listening to a wide variety of music, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the great outdoors on foot and on motorcycle.

Dr. Fraser likes to keep a light-hearted, casual atmosphere in the dental clinic and takes pride not only in the quality of his work, but in the quality of his dental team – making sure that each of his patients receives the individual attention that they deserve.

Dr. Fraser is a volunteer dentist at the Pain Clinic at the Native Friendship Centre in Prince George and a Student Advisory Program Mentor to current dental students at McGill University. As well, he is certified in oral and inhalation sedation.

GENERAL DENTIST AND OWNER

Dr. Kristina Dee was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2002, she moved to Montreal, Quebec to attend McGill University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in General Biology in 2008. She graduated from McGill University’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2012 where she also completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Externship at The Montreal General Hospital. After dental school, Dr. Dee worked as a dental resident with rotations at The Vancouver General Hospital, The British Columbia Cancer Agency, The Downtown Eastside, and the Haida Health Centre in Old Massett on Haida Gwaii, before moving to Prince George with her husband Dr. Ryan Fraser.

Dr. Dee’s educational background and unique training are the foundation of her holistic approach to practicing dentistry. Her clinical recommendations are founded on evidence-based research and on how each patient’s oral health affects his/her overall quality of life.

Dr. Dee is a volunteer dentist at the Pain Clinic at The Native Friendship Centre in Prince George and a Student Advisory Program Mentor to current dental students at McGill University. She is also a part-time instructor at the College of New Caledonia for the dental assisting and dental hygiene programs. Additionally, she is certified in oral and inhalation sedation.

In her free time, Dr. Dee loves spending time with her friends and family, especially her twin nephews. She enjoys listening to music and playing along with her guitar, keyboard and cajon. If you’ve been to a great concert lately or have a band to recommend, she’d love to hear all about it!
